Cork Menopause Clinic

Dr Aoibhe O'Driscoll runs a dedicated Menopause Clinic on Tuesday mornings for both existing and new patients.

Dr O'Driscoll is a graduate of the UCC School of Medicine and completed her General Practice Training in Cork. She has always had a special interest in women's health, especially the Menopause. She trained in a specialised Menopause Clinic at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and, in 2012, completed an Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care through the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health (FSRH) in London, a division of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG).

Aoibhe is an active member of both the Irish Menopause Society (IMS) and the British Menopause Society (BMS) and she is a recognised BMS Menopause Specialist. She has attended conferences worldwide on this subject over the past 20 years and regularly lectures on behalf of UCC and the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) to undergraduate and post-graduate students. She is also involved in the ICGP menopause training programme for doctors.

At the Cork Menopause Clinic, a consultation with Dr O'Driscoll involves:

Each Clinic appointment can take up to 2 hours split between our Practice Nurse and Dr O'Driscoll. The cost is €225 which includes one follow up visit within 6 weeks.
